I Must Be Dreaming…
So I got this note from my daughter this afternoon…
Gottcha…I wrote this myself. As if this would really happen.
Addendum: as of tonight, my daughter actually DID apply for a job at Starbuck’s, and she did it all on her own too! The sun is starting to shine down on me. Hallelujah!

My name is Amanda Fox. I have three almost grown and fairly neurotic children, four cats, and one overly-ambitious doctor husband. Things can get kind of crazy around here sometimes. If you don't think Elvis is alive and you don't poke yourself with pens, you can stay. I can always use some normal company.

We parents can always dream and hope. So far, my children haven’t figured out how to take that away from me.
Two of Zach’s friends just read this and they are like, WHAT? They were so in shock, until they read the end LOL.
Ha! I love doing that to the kids. They say I’m mean, but mama has to have fun somehow.
Totally… LOL
The good news is that they actually do become adults who come pretty close to saying and doing those things.
Thank goodness. I figure if I can imagine it, then it COULD happen. Actually my daughter read it, and gave me a smirk. I know what that means…someday, mom, someday…
I thought the gag was going to be that she had sent it to you from jail. Wait, that’s not funny.
It wouldn’t actually BE funny, but the idea is hilarious.

Oh, the dreams of parents. Do we ask too much?
Mandy, this is so sweet! Your baby is growing up!
It’s on the Internet now, so it’s real.
So true Seb, so true…;)
